Bear Spotting Adventures - Red Nose Day Bear

Bear Spotting Adventures - Red Nose Day Bear

Horace Big Bear saw how much I enjoyed wearing my red nose and thought he would join in too!
This time he is wearing a different Red Nose Day Monster Nose. This one is called "Chucklechomp".
Horace Big Bear was also telling me that noses run in our family, and we pick them ourselves!!!
...
I didn't think that that was particularly funny either... Perhaps you can think of better jokes about bears or (red) noses. Why not submit them to our bear jokes page?

Bear Spotting Red Nose Day Bear

I'm joining in with all the fun and supporting comic relief red nose day!

I'm wearing the red nose monster called "Honkus"
... Do you think it suits me?
Well, it matches my red hat anyway!!
I'm not sure about the breathing though, red nose day monsters on your nose are not the best of things to have for the air flow... or should that be "bear" flow ? ...
Tee!! Hee!!
...
OK, not that funny!!
:-)

Maybe some of Jamies recipes could cheer you up!

Polar Bear News

Bear Spotting Polar Bear News

For those of you who can watch BBC1, there is a repeat of a TV programme shown over the Christmas period.

It is called "Polar Bear: Spy On The Ice" and is on BBC1 on Sunday 9th Jan at 15:30 to 16:30.

I watched this programme about Polar Bears on the ice, and thought it was fantastic!!

The camera crew set up many remote cameras to record the lives of the Polar Bear mothers and cubs.
It showed how they searched for food, and made do with what they found when there no seals...

They named their cameras according to their function. My favourite was the "Blizzard Cam" which zipped all about the place with "Snowball Cam" in its pouch!!
:-)

It is well worth a watch, I learned many interesting Polar Bear facts from it.

If you have access to the BBC iPlayer, it may be available there if you miss it.

I hope you enjoy the programme about Polar Bears as much as I did!
